He schooled at Staff Nursery and Ijaniki Primary School for his primary education, Federal Government College Lagos for his secondary school education and went on to study Curriculum Studies at the University of Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Wande Coal biography cannot be complete without a look at his music career. Wande Coal’s passion for singing started at a very early age while still in secondary school; he started singing in his church teenage choir.
Black Diamond as he is sometimes called, came into the Nigerian Entertainment Industry as a dancer .Wande Coal later signed on to the Mo’Hits Record Label in 2006. He featured in some of Dbanj’s singles from the album, ‘Rundown/Funk You Up’ such as ‘Loke,’ ‘Tonsibe’ and ‘Why Me,’ he also danced in the ‘Why Me’ music video. Being signed into the Mo’Hits Record and also being a member of the Mo’Hits all-stars played a significant role when he released his album ‘CV – Curriculum Vitae’. His first song in the ‘CV’ album, ‘Olulufe’ is said to be one of the greatest love songs to be penned down and sung by a Nigerian. He later released his debut album ‘Mushin to Mo’Hits’ which was received generally throughout Nigeria, UK, and USA.

Wande Coal has recorded many tracks with various Nigerian artists like Ikechukwu, Naeto C, Dr. Sid, D’Prince, Wizkid, P-Lola and so many more.
In 2012, after the disagreement between the two Mo’Hits Executives – Don Jazzy and Dbanj, Wande Coal went with Don Jazzy to his new record label, ‘Mavins records.’ He later left Mavins Records in 2013 after He got into an unpleasant quarrel with Don Jazzy which made him not to give Don Jazzy credit for the single ‘Baby Face’ which he released on October 2013 as a solo act.
He set up his own Record Label which he called ‘Black Diamond Entertainment’ immediately , he also moved his management to Bankulli Entertainment. After a long break from the entertainment world, he released his second album which he titled ‘Wanted’ which put him on board again in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry, most reviews of this album placed him somewhat above the average scale. In December 2017, he released his recent single, ‘Turkey Nla.’ He later parted ways with Bankulli Entertainment due to some hostile differences and inability to settle their differences. He subsequently got into a management deal with UPFRONT AND PERSONAL BOOKINGS AND MANAGEMENT AGENCY – a Global Management Consulting Company.

His traditional Marriage was away from the media eyes and was attended by only his close friends and family. The White wedding is said to be coming up in 2018.
