In the space of just one year, his videos had been viewed for a total of over 1.6 billion minutes.

However, even before his YouTube stardom, Lopez was already leveraging the power of social media to his benefit even as far back as 2008, when he became one of the first people to utilize Facebook for both organic and paid marketing, which of course, has become mainstream today.

Currently, Tai Lopez partners in more than 20 multi-million-dollar companies and maintains various business interests and personal ventures, including his most recent project, Retail E-commerce Ventures.

Given his modest beginnings, many of Tai’s admirers see him as the embodiment of the rags to riches narrative, having found himself broke, unemployed, homeless, and with just $47 in his pocket.

Tai Lopez now has a garage full of expensive automobiles and a gorgeous house in Beverly Hills, California, and is living the American dream.

He is perhaps most known for his podcast, The Lopez Show, in which he advises 1.4 million listeners in 40 countries on attaining wealth, health, love, and happiness.

Tai Lopez’s Early Life & Education

Lopez’s entrepreneurial journey, like that of many other great success stories, began when he was a youngster. He was born in Long Beach, California and raised by his mother and grandmother.

Unfortunately, throughout the majority of Tai’s youth, his father was incarcerated, which saw him turn to his grandfather for much of his wisdom and life learning.

Tai’s first business endeavor began when he was just six years old. This is where he started to understand some of the most basic yet crucial business concepts, such as the value of customer demand while assisting his mother in selling her cherry tomatoes for 25 cents a bag.

He immediately realized that not many individuals were interested in purchasing those tomatoes, which led him to look for other products with higher demand.

As a result, Tai decided to start a lemonade stand, the classic American youngster’s enterprise. The concepts of profit, economic independence, and teamwork were even more apparent here, and the initiative paid off for young Tai, much to his pleasure.

Lopez developed his views of the “Good Life” from reading Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics, which Tai defines as a “balancing of the four fundamental pillars of life – health, prosperity, love, and happiness.”

After dropping out of college, he spent the next ten years of his life trying to figure out what the “Good Life” meant to him.

Reading the novels that his grandfather had passed down motivated him to keep reading until he decided that he wanted to meet the individuals he was reading about.

After doing odd jobs, he was able to accumulate enough money to go to 51 countries in the hopes of meeting such writers, which was a key milestone in his personal development.
