His birth month is the 5th of March in the year, 1988. Stonebwoy hails from Ashaiman in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. He began making music in his early school days. He realized his talents and abilities as a lyricist and scriptwriter at an early age. Back in those days, he would act and write lots of drama pieces on stage beginning from his primary school days.

Stonebwoy is a singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. His music career took off in 2009, and till date, he has been with record labels like Samini Music, Burniton Music Group and Zylofon Media
Stonebwoy is considered to be a multifaceted rapper due to his various musical styles. From 2015, he received many awards and nominations ranging from “Artist of the Year” to “Album of the Year”. His sophomore album, Necessary Evil, was the recipient of 3 Ghana Music Awards from 6 nominations.
He has been listed as part of the 2019 “50 (fifty) young CEOs”, by YCEO and Avance media this year. The list which was launched earlier in 2018, was set out to honor distinguished young individuals pursuing the course of providing solutions to some of Ghana’s pertinent problems

In 2012 with “Samini Music,” Stonebwoy recorded his first hit single “Climax” featuring Samini. This was followed by “Ghetto Love” featuring Irene Logan. Both songs got him nominations at the Ghana Music Awards. Following his exposure, he released his debut album “Grade 1”. The collection contains seventeen tracks which featured prominent Ghanaian artists including Tinny and Edem. The release of the debut album got him into the spotlight, and he became a household name in the entertainment industry.
In 2014 he released his second album Necessary Evil. This album consists of twenty-nine tracks, including the famous Baafira track that featured Sarkodie (rapper). The album was the recipient of three Ghana Music Awards from six nominations.
On December 12, 2017, he released a high track “Epistles of Mama” which was dedicated to Satekla’s late mother by name Mrs. Catherine Lucy Aku Ametepi Satekla.
This 24 track album featured the likes of Sean Paul, King Promise, Burna Boy.
The album peaked at Number thirteen (13) on Billboard chart top 200 albums worldwide. In 2018 ‘Epistles Of Mama (EOM)’ was rated the second-best record in Ghana. YouTube honored the album for hitting over 10 million views.
Stonebwoy twin brother | Stonebwoy siblings
Stonebwoy, in an interview, revealed that he once had a twin brother. However, his twin as since passed away. This brother of his had died in a car accident off which Stonebwoy had been a passenger as well. It is due to this fact that Stonebwoy donates funds to victims of road accidents.
Stonebwoy has a younger sister, Sara Satekla. She has been spotted at many of his shows where she performed some of his songs. She had since then married a military police boyfriend in 2018.
Stonebwoy is happily married to Dr. Louisa Ansong. Their wedding took place on July 2017, on a Good Friday at the Yachal House Internal Church. It was a closed-door event.
They have since been blessed with two children. Dr. Louisa is a professional dentist. Her family is so in love with the dentist profession that she is the 17th in line after her father. Dr. Louisa is also a great entrepreneur. She owns a fashion business known as the Dentist. She is also a recipient of many awards for her profession.
