Roma sack Barcelona from Champions league

A.S. Roma has sent Barcelona F.C. out of the 2018 Champions league. Roma went away with an incredible victory of 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico; to overcome a first leg deficit of 4-1 and advance to the semi finals on away goals.

Edin Dzeko opened the scoring sheet for Roma in the sixth minute; followed by Daniele De Rossi, who scored a spot kick 13 minutes into second half. Kostas Manolas closed the scoring sheet eight minutes to stoppage time with a superb header; sending Roma fans into ecstasy and leaving Barcelona shocked.

Roma was aggressive from start to finish  and had a great game although Patrick Schick missed two great chances  in the 13th and 30th minutes to increase the lead .

Barcelona finally made a good attempt in the dying minutes to stage a come back; but Roma held on to the scores until the end, and they are going through to their first semis since 1984; when they lost to Liverpool in the final.
