Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, has told his manager, Zinedine Zidane to make him the best highest paid player at the club.
The French man wants to earn 17 million euros per season thus becoming the highest paid player among Zidane’s men. Fox Sports reports.
The report claimed that the striker is behind Gareth Bale, who is the highest paid Real player, along side Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Sergio Ramos.
Florentino Perez, club president is unwilling to pay the striker 17 million euros, but Zidane believes that the striker deserves it.
The striker scored 30 goals, and assisted 11 in over 53 appearances for Madrid this season.
Benzema current contract at the club will expire in June 2021.
