Beetroots are often called beets. They belong to the plant family of Chenopodiaceae and one of the varieties of the genus Beta vulgaris.  They are can be added as an ingredient to salads, soups, prickles, coloring agent, etc. beets are also highly nutritious as they contains vitamins, minerals,  antioxidant contents and can be considered as one of the healthiest herb in the world due to its numerous applications to health as we shall be seeing shortly.
