Arsenal goalkeeper, Bernd Leno, has told the manager to play him in the Europa League final against Chelsea, although Petr Cech is the club’s designated Cup goalkeeper.
Fans are keen to see Leno restored to the starting XI, after it was reported that the goalkeeper has already agreed to return to Chelsea.
While Leno has huge respect for Petr, he has disclosed that he wants to play in the final.
I have full admiration for Cech, and we get along very well.
He deserves all credit, but it’s clear that I’m an athlete, and i want to play especially in a final.
Winning the Europa League would be a big title for me here at Arsenal. we all want to be in the Champions League next season
If we lose the final, our season, which we worked hard for, would be a disappointing,” Leno told Kicker.
