Former Liverpool midfielder, Jonjo Shelvey has regretted leaving the club. Jonjo was part of flourishing young stars in Liverpool team in 2012, he left the club to sign for Swansea in 2013.
Shelvey decided to leave after losing game-time under former Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers.
Jonjo, then was 20 years old, he was enjoying a lot of minutes with Liverpool senior team.
The 27-year-old, who spoke with the Chronicle, saying he would not make such decision if he could turn back the clock.
I shouldn’t have left Liverpool,” Shelvey said.
I would have stayed but i felt to move on and play football regularly at my age, i had the opportunity
“You’d get a game one week, when big players returns back you would be out of the team next week. i left Liverpool and kinda had regrets.
