Day had his early education at Pennfield School and he graduated from Portsmouth Abbey School, all in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. He majored in Art History in 1998 from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. While he was in school, he was an active member of the Onstagers, which was Merrimack’s student theater organization.
