He is one of the five children of Patsy Levine, an admissions counselor and Fred Levine, founder of retail chain M. Fredric. Adam Levine grew up in the company of his four siblings – Julia Milne Levine, Liza Levine, Michael Levine and Sam Levine. He has named his mother to be very influential to his musical career as she made it possible for him to be a successful singer.
